boy shirts + condolence + bookworm = astig si God (?)

i have this thing for buying shirts from nike boys. not because i think im a boy (and i never will!), but because aliw mga shirts dun. plus they have a wide range of sizes. anyway, i'm blogging about this because yesterday, i wore my shirt na galing sa nike boys. so there i was walking around the mall with my mom when suddenly i came across a guy wearing the same shirt as i did. he wasn't a little boy, nor was he a parent. just a normal aged person (ano nga ba ang normal age?) he looked shocked at first that he was wearing the same shirt with a girl (sexist!! :o) then recovering from the fact that a girl was wearing the same shirt as his, he just gave a goofy grin at me. i laughed, and pointed it out to my mom, who in turn laughed also. wheee. sige tawa lang. wahahahaaaa.

condolence to fran, julian and mark bits. i know it's hard losing your cell and wallet because half na ng buhay ng lahat ng tao yun these days. may they NOT rest in peace and hopefully they'll find their way back to their respectful owners. and may their (the con artists) conscience bug them forever. good thing walang nangyari sa aking cousin-ng-aking-cousin, bob!!, and right asssss. good thing nothing worse happened to you guys. we're all here for you, dont worry :) saka mahal kau ni God. wheeee :)

bookworm modes! i have finished three books last week. and here's what i have to say about them..
* artemis fowl: the arctice incident sucked. well not really, but it disappointed me. it was far from the first book. i didn't like it, i wasn't riveted, and it was dragging. but the artemis fowl-ish thing was still there (meaning it still had a lot of twists and turns which is the only reason why i'm reading this book). it was a bore to read. took me 3 days to finish this book. the ending was good though, it made up for the draggy-ness.
* artemis fowl: the eternity code on the other hand, was awesome :o *handsdown* to the book! it's my favorite installment in the trilogy :) it took me only one day to read, because it was so riveting. it keeps your eyes waiting to read the next sentence, your hands eager to turn the next page, your butt glued to the chair, and your brain thinking on what possible thing could happen next. artemis fowl is one brilliant, clever, witty, intelligent *insert all synonyms here* person. the twists and unpredictability of the plot was amazing. and the ending.. i could not describe the ending. it was perfect. it was sad, but it was so... brilliant. the whole book was awesome. awe-worthy. drool-worthy. i loved it. plus points kasi blue yung cover. hahaha :o
* second summer of the sisterhood is the sequel to the travelling pants thing. it was ok, but i liked the first installment better. tinatamad na ko magcomment on books. hahaha.

artemis fowl is one book not worth to be borrowed... but worth to be owned. NYAHAHAHA :)

God has no cellphone but he is SMART. He is all over the GLOBE. In fact, He is brighter than the SUN. Without load, you can reach Him, only TALK no TEXT. Godbless :)

"it's not worth to be borrowed... it's worth to be owned."

that line kept me, and two other girls smiling the whole afternoon. the story behind that line was, well there's no other word for it but kilig. shit. hahaha :)

yesterday, i, along with the other camille batch 3 people and facis, went to town to have a faci orientation. we went to the grocery, went to paengs, and then to one of my most favorite places in town-- coffee bean :D we made tambay there and kung saan-saang table kami napadpad because of the change of company. gelo visited us!! :) yey. while gelo was there though, i happened to sit on the exact same chair where i always sit, which left me freezing and shaking to the winds blown by the aircon while drinking my caramel ice blend. gelo also felt cold, which resulted to us using tissue papers to save our 37* body temperature. why do i always sit there?!

when gelo left, we went outside coffee bean because dainie had a wonderful view of a lesbian who loves to stare. ick. since all girls na table namin (jackie, dainie, mariel, camille), the chichi's began. i was saved because before it was my turn, mariel, michael, dainie and jackie all left na. nyahaha :o

camille and i went inside again, to join the other facis. and i was exposed to rofl-worthy stories which left my tummy aching. from pot sessions at the back of the classroom while ms joan was teaching.. to jungle-like armpit hair.. to jeg's 'laftrip' driving.. and to absolutely anything and everything else you can think of. anyway, i was left in town by myself after. i was fetched at 7, and everyone else left at around 6:30. woohoo! bonding with myself while walking around town. hahaha :p

i happened to talk to alfred that night, and our conversation went from serious stuff to outrageous ways on how to make money. and with me being high with caramel frap.. uh.. i think you know what to expect. one day, makikita niyo na lang si alfred na nakaharang sa escalator/elevator. may bayad bago pumasok/umalis. may bayad bago pumasok/umalis sa bahay ni julian. may bayad bago pumasok/umalis sa classroom. may bayad bago gamiting yung hall pass. magccooking lessons si alfred at siya ang guro. sasali siya sa lotto at iccalculate (via permutations) kung ilang possible combinations ang pwede at gagawin nia ito lahat para manalo.

being materialistic is bad :o tsk tsk

i happened to go to cavite last monday. no patrick.. no ate pia.. no parents.. just me with my grade 1 cousins. and it surprised me that even if they're only grade 1, they're so hospitable. lahat na ata ng pagkain sa ref pinagpilitan nilang kainin ko. they showed me all their dvd's and offered to watch each one. they set up a "bed" made of pillows for me. they joined me in all of their games (i got really tired because of this).

buti pa sila, hindi nauubusan ng gagawin.

yey may blogger na ko!

prinsesa is down. again :p i guess i'll just blog here while it's gone.

many people always look forward to summer. and i am one of them. i am a summer-loving person yet, there are so many things to hate about it. like the endless heat-wave that gives you this sticky feeling. like rotting at home. like the never-ending boredom of having nothing to do. summer also has an amazing power to make you lazier than usual. it also gives someone a lot of chances to blog and think about weird random things.

i happened to go to cavite last monday. it was way out of schedule, since we always go there on fridays. my visit there made me realize a lot of things about my family. now i know where all the hype and weirdness in me comes from. let me put it in a form of a list :D

1. i eat shrimp, bangus, tilapia, bread, and a lot of things with ketchup. the genes i have might also be on my cousin coby, because he also eats everything with ketchup. his favorite with this condiment is nilaga. ...and sinigang.

2. for my cousin patrick, everyone is gay.

3. kuya jun says "hello?" 10 million times when he calls up at home.
kuya jun: hello?
bea: hello
kuya jun: hello!!
bea: hello?
kuya jun: hello
bea: hello??
kuya jun: hello!!
*this goes on for a long time*
bea: helloooo
kuya jun: hello bea!!!

4. ate pia, patrick and i, regardless of our height, have the same small hands. we all have the smallest hands in our respective sections :o

5. many people mistake my laugh for ate pia's laugh. when we tell stories to each other, our laughs merge making it sound like only 1 person is laughing.

6. because of over-exposure to wrestling, my cousins coby, diego & robin's fights have evolved from making sumbong to mommy.. to attempting to push the tv ontop of kung sino man kaaway nila. they have accumulated more stitches in 1 year than me.

7. i never had stitches. hahaha.

8. patrick also joined this wrestling craze. his new hobby is lying down on me. agh.

9. patrick btw is 10 lbs heavier than me. so there.

10. my grandmother called me up because she couldn't get technology. our last phone conversation went something like this:
grandma: bea? help me with this dvd thing. i want to watch crying ladies! hindi ko siya maplay!
bea: press niyo po yung play button
grandma: teka muna. alin ba yung nasa taas.. yung silver o yung may crying ladies?
bea: silver po? baka po iba yng dvd player natin..
grandma: hindi! alin yung nasa taas dapat, yung silver o yung may picture ng crying ladies?
bea: ano po? *confused*
grandma: suskopo. yung sa cd na to! ano yung nasa taas, yung silver o yung isa?
bea: aahh yung cd po! yung silver po yung nasa baba. tapos po press ninyo yung play. yung triangle po.
grandma: ahh.. thank you!
*puts down the phone*
*calls up again*
grandma: bakit may menu?
bea: kunin niyo po yung remote control
grandma: tapos?
bea: select niyo po yung play
grandma: ahh thank you again bea!
(hehe jackie elaine knows this coz they were at my house when this happened. rodney, sam ga and chio also know about this, kasi i was talking to them when my grandma made that incoming call. hehe! :p)

11. me and my cousins find joy in weird things. like bananas.

12. we like creating things. like "banana world" with only one banana. para na ring waterworld na walang tubig.

let me add some more next time. lol.
<br>
wednesday (march23) was the most random and unexpected day of my life. mariel invited me, gliza and steph to go to town that day. so i agreed. rodney happened to call me up that same day, and he asked kung pwede siya makisingit sa gimik namin. mariel agreed so we were all supposed to meet up last wednesday. last tuesday however, rodney informed me that mariel was grounded. weird, kasi xa nag-invite. hehe. anyway. after talking to rodney on the phone, nika called up. she happened to make kwento that she was going to town that day. so she asked if she could join us, so i said yes. last wednesday, however, only 3 of us turned up. steph texted me that she couldn't go, and i don't know what happened to gliza, lol.

so there, i ate lunch with nika, and we caught up on each other's lives. rodney followed us at the food court, and we talked and stuff. we then went to tower, browsed around some cds (no more buddha's pest! waaa), and eventually bought our tickets to watch robots. i realized that watching a film 2x in a row won't be as funny as the first time you watched it. i was rather quiet during the film, since all side comments have been said when i first watched it with pat, ate pia, and her friends. my laughter wasn't all out either, since i gave it all the first time around. nika & rodney's laughter made me laugh, not the movie, lol. and with them, i actually had fun watching the stupid commercials and trailers. hehe. when robots was finished, rodney wanted to watch another movie. so nag-movie marathon kami. we watched the pacifier. it gave me some laughs, and i was back to my side-comment-ish self. ahaha :p after the movie we went to powerbooks and hung out sa childrens section, as usual. there are always lots of mems gained there :) rodney is a good story-teller, lol :D after hanging out in powerbooks, we went to the foodcourt and ate dinner. camaron *yum* we were all fetched at the same time, laftrip. nika was fetched in the food court, rodney was fetched sa may flower farm, and i was fetched at burger king. we went to the kumpisal ng bayan afterwards, and the line was soo long :p gelo and i had a textfest, since he was stuck in line also. we were in the same church, but at opposite ends. lol. i also saw ate pia & family, kuya tj, and ivy. hehe :) we were all stuck in a very looong line. i arrived home at around 11pm :p

so my summer's not boring. not YET. i need to find summer lessons soon :p
