Thursday, March 31, 2005 boy shirts + condolence + bookworm = astig si God (?)i have this thing for buying shirts from nike boys. not because i think im a boy (and i never will!), but because aliw mga shirts dun. plus they have a wide range of sizes. anyway, i'm blogging about this because yesterday, i wore my shirt na galing sa nike boys. so there i was walking around the mall with my mom when suddenly i came across a guy wearing the same shirt as i did. he wasn't a little boy, nor was he a parent. just a normal aged person (ano nga ba ang normal age?) he looked shocked at first that he was wearing the same shirt with a girl (sexist!! :o) then recovering from the fact that a girl was wearing the same shirt as his, he just gave a goofy grin at me. i laughed, and pointed it out to my mom, who in turn laughed also. wheee. sige tawa lang. wahahahaaaa. condolence to fran, julian and mark bits. i know it's hard losing your cell and wallet because half na ng buhay ng lahat ng tao yun these days. may they NOT rest in peace and hopefully they'll find their way back to their respectful owners. and may their (the con artists) conscience bug them forever. good thing walang nangyari sa aking cousin-ng-aking-cousin, bob!!, and right asssss. good thing nothing worse happened to you guys. we're all here for you, dont worry :) saka mahal kau ni God. wheeee :) bookworm modes! i have finished three books last week. and here's what i have to say about them.. * artemis fowl: the arctice incident sucked. well not really, but it disappointed me. it was far from the first book. i didn't like it, i wasn't riveted, and it was dragging. but the artemis fowl-ish thing was still there (meaning it still had a lot of twists and turns which is the only reason why i'm reading this book). it was a bore to read. took me 3 days to finish this book. the ending was good though, it made up for the draggy-ness. * artemis fowl: the eternity code on the other hand, was awesome :o *handsdown* to the book! it's my favorite installment in the trilogy :) it took me only one day to read, because it was so riveting. it keeps your eyes waiting to read the next sentence, your hands eager to turn the next page, your butt glued to the chair, and your brain thinking on what possible thing could happen next. artemis fowl is one brilliant, clever, witty, intelligent *insert all synonyms here* person. the twists and unpredictability of the plot was amazing. and the ending.. i could not describe the ending. it was perfect. it was sad, but it was so... brilliant. the whole book was awesome. awe-worthy. drool-worthy. i loved it. plus points kasi blue yung cover. hahaha :o * second summer of the sisterhood is the sequel to the travelling pants thing. it was ok, but i liked the first installment better. tinatamad na ko magcomment on books. hahaha. artemis fowl is one book not worth to be borrowed... but worth to be owned. NYAHAHAHA :) God has no cellphone but he is SMART. He is all over the GLOBE. In fact, He is brighter than the SUN. Without load, you can reach Him, only TALK no TEXT. Godbless :) |

First of all I cant relate about the artemi sfowl books.. But I do believe each word you are posting in your blog about these books- obviously you put a lot of- uhm- thought- and uhm- importance to what you burn the midnight oil with... So I am currently inspired to read the trilogy.. :)
BUt apparently i dont own even 1 book- unlike othr peeps out there- who now owns 2-
Hope BEA!!! hehehe... :)
